Skiing Area Samnaun/Ischgl
The largest winter sports arena in the Eastern Alps
The Samnaun/Ischgl ski area offers all snow sports enthusiasts the greatest snow fun. Make your tracks in the dreamlike, almost "kitschy" winter paradise and experience skiing at the level of the extra class. And all that on 160 days - because Samnaun has one of the longest winter seasons in the Alps!
The pistes in the Silvretta Ski Arena are excellently prepared and in perfect condition. Night after night, countless piste machines are on the move to ensure the greatest winter sports fun for beginners and sporty skiers alike. Most of the pistes are above the tree line in high alpine terrain. 239 kilometres of pistes and 45 lifts perfectly connect the mountain resorts of Samnaun and Ischgl, making the Silvretta Skiarena the largest ski area in the Eastern Alps.
Particularly noteworthy are the chairlifts, most of which are equipped with bonnets and some with seat heating. The modern 3-S Pardatschgratbahn with seat heating takes guests directly up to the Pardatschgrat and from Samnaun you can reach the Alptrider Sattel with a double-decker aerial tramway, just to name a few highlights.
